Terri,
Hello. I'm in the final stages of obtaining my masters degree in marketing; I'm beginning work on my thesis now. I've been looking into the topic of ARGs and viral marketing, but I couldn't really decide on a question. Then I came across your site. I feel like I'm getting closer to finding research that will truly interest me; the Interpret-her model is incredible. As a woman, I feel that many advertising campaigns miss the point.
I'd rather not write a generic thesis; I want to explore the connection between women, social media, and viral marketing from a truly in-depth and unique position. I know a lot of research has been done on the demographics of women gamers, viral marketing, social media and such. However, I'm hoping that as someone who is already working in this arena, you'll be able to provide some guidance as to what still needs to be explored. I'm open to any ideas and would greatly appreciate and feedback. If you are willing, my topic can also be related to anything that would assist your company.
I realize that your time is valuable. Again, any information that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Lesley
